Vina Morales admits she is clueless when it comes to the supposed romance between her younger sister Shaina Magdayao and John Lloyd Cruz.
Shaina and Lloydy's alleged “rendezvous” —from mall and bike store sightings to their most recent rumored Boracay “getaway”— have made the headlines these past few weeks. Some fingers also point to the actor as the reason for Shaina’s break-up with John Prats.
“I really don’t know if that’s true or not kasi ang dami naman kasing nali-link kay JL eh. Kaya much better kung wala na lang akong masabi kasi hindi pa naman natin alam ang totoong mga pangyayari at mangyayari at nangyayari,” the Ultimate Performer related on “The Buzz.”
The “Agua Bendita” actress said she’d rather not meddle with Shaina’s affairs.
“Mahirap i-stop ang isang tao—either of those two, either kay John, John Lloyd, or either kay Shaina or John Prats man—kung nagkakagulo sila or may tampuhan, ayokong makialam. Or meron mang may gusto sa kapatid, who am I to stop that?” she said.
She gave her sister a piece of advice, though: “I-enjoy niyo lang ang buhay, sabi ko nga eh kay Shaina. [Don’t] take it seriously.”
Meanwhile, host Kris Aquino admitted during the “P.O.V. (Points, Opinions, Violent Reactions)” segment of the show that it was she who spotted the rumored couple at Shangri-La Mall.
She maintained that both were “all smiles” as they approached her family.
“In all fairness kay Lloydy, nag-approach siya agad. Nag-congratulate siya kay James [for his team’s triumph in the PBA], nag-kiss siya sa’kin, in-appear siya ni Baby James. Si Shaina nag-kiss sa’kin, nag-congratulate siya kay James. [Tapos] sabi ko, ‘Uy’,” Kris shared.
