Anne Curtis will back Viva’s moves re nip slip controversy

Source: Manila Bulletin

Actress Anne Curtis will support her management, Viva, if it decides to sue those who uploaded images of her wardrobe malfunction in Boracay last March 21.

A portion of Anne’s bikini top accidentally fell off while she was taping a segment with Sam Milby for “ASAP XV.”

She refuted talks that the incident was a promotional stunt for her forthcoming movie, "Babe, I Love You."

“It was accidental. All I wanted is to do my job properly. Sobra nga akong nalungkot at kinabahan sa nangyari kaya ako naiyak sa ‘ASAP,’” Anne explained on “Showbiz News Ngayon” last March 24.

Her co-star and ex-boyfriend Sam finds it "ridiculous" that some people would insinuate that the incident was planned.

“Hindi naman sinadya. So I mean, the people that are saying na parang promotion or something, come on,...who would want to expose themselves for a publicity stunt? Anne has never exposed herself. I don't think that she is really elated [if indeed, this were a publicity stunt],” Sam said.

Sam is angry with those---particularly a tabloid---who took advantage of the accident.

“Sana you guys will have respect. Kung nanay mo 'yon, sister mo, family members, siyempre you wouldn’t want that to come out. Sana if you do have a picture, you won’t release it...it’s extreme disrespect,” he said, obviously miffed by the postings.

Local tabloid Pinoy Parazzi ran a copy of the images on the cover of their March 24 issue.

“At doon ako nagagalit kasi...ba’t mo gagawin 'yon without...Wala silang pasabi na...although alam naman siguro ang magiging sagot ko doon [ay] hindi kasi katawan ko 'yon [at] hindi ko naman ginusto 'yong nangyari so nakakasama ng loob na ginawa pa nilang front cover,” Anne said.

Viva Artists Agency (VAA) is currently weighing their legal options regarding the matter.

“If Viva think there’s a case, I will support it kasi pagkatao ko 'yon eh. Ako 'yon, eh. Katawan ko 'yon, eh. Nakakalungkot 'yong ginagawa ninyo. Sana nakakatulog kayo nang maayos. Sana masaya sila sa ginagawa nila na alam nilang meron silang nasasaktang tao,” said she.

At this point, the actress said that there’s only one thing she can do.

“Siguro I [should just] move on, deal with it, and just hope na it will pass.”

For the nth time, Anne pled with the public to stop uploading or viewing the images.

“Sana tigilan na. Sana lahat ng may pictures, tigilan na 'yong pag-upload or 'yong mga nag-upload na sa mga blogs nila, please, tanggalin n’yo na.”
