Toughest rowers gird for Manila Bay battle

MANILA, Philippines—The country’s finest paddlers plunge into action in the Seasports Festival in Manila Bay on March 20 and 21.
Championships in the mixed team category as well as stock and formula races for motorboats are up for grabs in the competitions organized by Manila Broadcasting Company and supported by the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation.
The national dragonboat team, last year’s champion, lead the entries that include Camarines Sur, Navy, PNP, Drago Pilipinas, Manila Dragons, Triton, La Salle, One Piece Drakon Sangress, UP, San Beda, Manila Wave, Manila Blazing Paddles, Manila Ocean Park, Rowers Club, Maharlika and Pyros.
