Yes. Bongbong Marcos the congressman and the senatorial candidate can play the sax.

“It’s been 30 years or maybe more since the last time I played,” he said.

Bongbong did the intro of Labuyo’s Tuloy Pa Rin Ako, his carrier campaign song.

Mon Espia, the song’s original singer, took the lead vocals while Dingdong Eduque and Bongbong jammed with him in the chorus.

With apologies sandwiching his grand performance, Bongbong got a thumbs up from everyone present. Make it double thumbs up for the effort.

With Dingdong prodding the reluctant sax player, the crowd joined the fun and sang along.

Others who shared their music in the cruise were Romy Posadas, Richard Merck, Marc Abaya of Kjwan, Raymond Marasigan of Eraserheads, Aya, choirmaster Jonathan Velasco, saxophone player Joey V., vocalist Arthur M., trombone artist Romy San Jose, harp player Dona Punsalan, soprano Tricia Jimenez, The Bloomfields Band, drummer George and members of the Filharmonika orchestra and Route 70 band.
